*Apparently, Blac Chyna didn’t see it coming when her future sister-in-laws Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, collectively filed an opposition to her application seeking to trademark her married name-to-be, “Angela Renee Kardashian.”
On Thursday, Chyna’s attorney, Walter Mosley, told People that the opposition came out of left field.
“Everything has been fantastic between her and the family to the best of my knowledge, so this is a shock,” Mosley said. “Thus, I’m under the belief that it’s a misunderstanding. I don’t know how this plays out any other way.”
Mosley, who said that he’s filed “many trademarks” for Blac Chyna (real name Angela Renée White) and that this is the first one to be opposed, added that he was confident the issue would be resolved in his client’s favor.
“I think for us this is going to be a clear case win, because it’s actually her name, it’s not a poaching. I would hope that this is just a junior lawyer’s error, who’s just responding to everything and not really looking at who it’s from or why it was filed,” the attorney said.
