*Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s estate is trying to draw blood from a stone when it comes to Nick Gordon. If you recall, Brown’s father Bobby Brown’s sued Gordon for wrongful death last year, and won!

In November, a judge ordered Gordon to pay $36 million for the wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina, who passed away — from suspicious circumstances — on July 26, 2015 at age 22.

While he wasn’t found criminally responsible for Brown’s death, he is legally responsible, and the estate is hitting him hard for payment, despite Gordon being broke, depressed and unable to find work, according to someone claiming to be his cousin.

A man named Logan Harris, who claims to be Nick Gordon’s cousin, says that Gordon “wants to get financially stable but he can’t get a job because it will go to the lawsuit. He is looking at filing for bankruptcy.”

Harris also claims that Gordon is still battling depression in the wake of Brown’s death and the ruling over the lawsuit.

“Nick’s really depressed right now,” Harris said. “He wants to get a job to be financially stable but anything he makes will all go to the lawsuit.”

Gordon is allegedly living with his mother, Michelle Gordon, in Sanford, Florida and trying to get his life back on track.

“Before he would go out to eat and have a few drinks, now he doesn’t go out at all,” Harris said, claiming Gordon “can’t do or say anything at all, its like he’s in prison with the lawsuit.”

theJasminebrand.com reports that Gordon’s $36 million judgement includes “$1.3 mill for assault and battery/medical damages an additional $4.2 million (because when he assaulted her he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol) and $13 million for pain and suffering + $15 million for loss of life and loss of future potential income.”

The estate lawyer has served Gordon with a list of questions to determine just how hard up he is for cash. The lawyer wants to analyze Nick’s bank statements, tax returns, account balances, and any income earned from various media interviews.

If Gordon fails to respond to the request, a judge can authorize the lawyer to seize any property that is listed in Gordon’s name, including current or future income, until the debt is paid in full.
