*CNN has issued an apology after a producer was caught in leaked footage joking to reporter Suzanne Malveaux about Donald Trump’s plane crashing.

It all went down on Thursday as Malveaux was preparing to report live from Trump’s event at the Carrier Corp. factory in Indianapolis. In footage obtained and posted on YouTube by Scott Jones of FTV Live, an unidentified producer can be heard off camera telling Malveaux what cues will signal that Trump’s plane was arriving.

“That means his plane’s crashed,” the producer says before quickly saying, “No, I’m kidding.”

The network issued a statement Friday saying the producer would be “disciplined.”

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday,” CNN said. “We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.”
