*The pitch used by Jay Z in an attempt to score streaming rights to Prince’s music on Tidal has been exposed, along with other documents, in a new lawsuit filed by Prince’s estate and posted by TMZ.

The estate is suing Jay Z’s Roc Nation for streaming Prince’s music on Tidal after his death in April.

According to TMZ, the new docs include a PowerPoint presentation that boasts Roc Nation’s assets — including music, sports, movies, concerts and more.

Also included is a letter from Roc Nation’s CEO to Bremer Trust — the estate’s administrator — attempting to persuade them to let Jay’s company manage Prince’s enormous catalog.

“[Prince] confided in and entrusted Mr. Carter and Roc Nation with his most prized possession, his creative expression,” the CEO wrote. “They spoke not just as respected businessmen, but as artists aligned in mission.”

As previously reported, Prince’s estate rejected the offer and ended up suing over the songs that had already been streamed.
