*John Legend has signed on to perform at the 66th NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans in February.

The 10-time Grammy winning crooner just released his fifth album “Darkness and Light” on Dec. 2, along with it’s first single, “Love Me Now.”

He’ll follow it up with the All-Star halftime slot on Sunday Feb. 9 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Coverage of the game will begin at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.

Legend’s “Darkness and Light” is produced by Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes), and features guest collaborations from such artists as Chance the Rapper, the Shakes’ Brittany Howard, and Miguel.

Mills describes the album as Legend’s “manifesto,” a record that “goes against the grain, boldly reminding us that though darkness is abound, it is the light that will ultimately push us forward.”
