Just a day after the release of the song on all online stores, When we Love went on to claim the number 1 spot on Microsoft Groove Hip Hop’s new release section overtaking the likes of Meek Mill,Drake, Eminem and Big Sean among others, being the only dance song to get that spot as a dance song on a hip hop chart and the only South African song to sit on such a huge global chart.
The song is already getting great airplay on many radio stations across the world, from the U.S to Spain, Latin America and more European radio stations and it is receiving great attention from bloggers and media channels across the world, even getting some thumbs up and mentions from people like Greg Walker who is manager to the likes of R. Kelly and Mary J Blige amongst other superstars.
