Usain Bolt Is ‘CEO’ Of Mumm Wines & Terri Hines Moves To Fox Sports

I Am Bolt

*Nine-time Olympic champion Usian Bolt takes center stage in a new documentary titled “I am Bolt,” a project he wanted to help him show people who he really is. Now the international “movie star,” as he calls himself, is adding CEO for a Napa, California-based bubbly company to his resume.

Usain has become the chief entertainment officer for Mumm sparkling wines. Last week, the gold medalist posted a moody video of himself “sabering” open a bottle of the good stuff, along with the hashtag “#DareWinCelebrate.”

Fox Sports has hired Terri Hines as the new Executive Vice President of Communications. According to Jet magazine, Hines will be responsible for leading communications across Fox Sports’ multi-platform portfolio, including the sports television arm of Fox Broadcasting Company, FS1, FS2, and its 22 regional sports networks.

She will also have oversight of communications for Fox Sports Digital, Fox Deportes, and joint ventures with other entities. That move comes after the departure of several key communications execs in the spring including SVP Lou D’Ermillo and VP Dan Bell, who took buyouts, Deadline reports.

The publication also notes that prior to running the Converse brand, Hines was director of communications for Nike’s Jordan brand, leading brand and athlete communications, entertainment, corporate responsibility and events.

“We are delighted to welcome Terri to Fox Sports and look forward to her leadership of our outstanding communications team,” said Fox Sports president, COO and executive producer Eric Shanks. “Terri has an intrinsic understanding of our business through her many years leading communications for some of the biggest brands at Nike. Her proven leadership skills, deep marketing and communications expertise and forward-thinking approach put her in an ideal position to highlight the growth and innovation of the Fox Sports brand.”

Hines will begin her new role with FOX on December 5.
