*A 19-year-old student at Howard University has gone viral with her tweet-by-tweet account of trying to holla at her Uber driver.
Kelli Amirah decided to share the story of being driven to a party along with her friend, only to be taken aback by the fineness of the man behind the wheel.
We’ve all been there, trying to get up the nerve to “shoot your shot” before the moment passes and is gone forever. Amirah puts us right into her predicament, 140 characters at a time – and with perfectly chosen memes as punctuation.
“When I originally started telling the story I didn’t expect it to go too far outside my university’s Twittersphere and then next thing I know it’s gaining traction and when it became a Twitter moment I was just beyond shocked,” Kelli told Cosmopolitan.com. “I have to keep turning off my notifications just to use my phone it’s just strange to think about because I know my friends have always enjoyed my stories but to see so many people reacting positively to it and being able to provide them with entertainment, even if it is low-key at my expense, is a great feeling.”
