Yo Gotti Signs with Jay Z’s ‘Roc Nation’; Drops Guest-Heavy Track ‘Castro’

*Yo Gotti took to Instagram today (Dec 15) to announce his new record deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation.

“CMG x ROC NATION#ItsOfficial,” he wrote in a caption with an Instagram pic of him and Jay Z.

Gotti comes to Roc Nation having scored a No. 1 spot on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Chart with his private messaging anthem “Down in the DM” in early 2016. He has also been teasing an upcoming ninth project from his Cocaine Muzik series.

In conjunction with today’s signing, Yo Gotti also released “Castro,” a new track featuring Kanye West, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Quavo.

“Cubans on me like I’m Castro/ Hit your b-tch with a backstroke/ Spanish b-tch, J.Lo /Dope money, Pablo,” the song’s refrain repeats.
