Array Announces Heidi Saman’s ‘Namour’ Theatrical Tour

*The inclusive distribution collective Array is proud to announce  the national theatrical screening tour of Egyptian-American filmmaker Heidi Saman’s Namour.

The 2016 LAFF’s LA Muse Award winner and Arab Film Festival Official Selection, Namour will debut on screens beginning March 1st nationwide including New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington DC,  Atlanta,  Houston, Chapel Hill, Seattle and Honolulu in advance of its Netflix debut via Array Releasing in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand territories on March 15th.

The exclusive theatrical trailer and poster were also released today. The announcement was made by Array Founder Ava DuVernay.

A stylized homage to Los Angeles, Namour explores the complexities of personal responsibility versus moral convictions. Featuring an international cast, the movie stars Karim Saleh (Iron Man 2 Kingdom of Heaven), Waleed Zuaiter (20th Century Woman, London Has Fallen, Omar) and  new  comer, Wedad Abdou. Chronicling the unraveling of Steven Bassem (Saleh), a valet driver for a trendy Los Angeles restaurant caught between his dead-end job and the demands of his Arab-American immigrant family.
