Lauryn Hill Postpones Pittsburgh Concert (AGAIN) – Chrissy Teigen On Falling Asleep at the Oscars

*Lauryn Hill has postponed a Pittsburgh concert that was scheduled to make up for one last month that started more than three hours late, Page Six reports.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust says Tuesday’s show at the Byham Theater has been moved to June 2 “due to a scheduling conflict.”

On Jan. 31, Hill took the stage at 11:20 p.m. for a Heinz Hall show advertised to start at 8 p.m. Many fans left that show demanding refunds, prompting Hill to schedule Tuesday’s makeup show. She blamed bad weather for causing some band and crew members to be stuck at LaGuardia Airport and arrive late in Pittsburgh.

In recent recent years, Lauryn has been nicknamed “notoriously late”.

You recall how she showed up two hours late to a show in Atlanta last year, and much of the crowd booed after her abrupt performance. Footage also surfaced of Hill involved in an intense verbal altercation with one upset fan. After the performance, she posted a lengthy statement on her Facebook page about her punctuality issues:

“I don’t show up late to shows because I don’t care,” the singer began the letter to her unhappy fans. “The challenge is aligning my energy with the time, taking something that isn’t easily classified or contained, and trying to make it available for others. I don’t have an on/off switch. I am at my best when I am open, rested, sensitive and liberated to express myself as truthfully as possible.”

Well…. if the rescheduled show goes on as planned, Hill should give her loyal fans an extra special treat by taking the stage ON TIME!! Ain’t no body got time to sit around for 2-3 hours while she channels her center.

John Legend’s wife dozed off during the Oscars, and while she was called out about it online by viewers, Chrissy Teigen made light of the moment on Twitter.

The Academy Awards ceremony is practically an all day event for press members and over three hours for celebrities, so it’s no wonder the Sports Illustrated model fell asleep on her husband’s shoulder during the final categories.

Audience cameras caught Teigen snoozing during Casey Affleck’s Best Actor acceptance speech and again during Emma Stone’s win.

Teigen acknowledged the nearly viral moment on Twitter Monday morning, writing: “just woke up what happened.”
