*San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock was arrested in Santa Clara Thursday on a domestic violence charge, reports the Sacramento Bee.

The incident allegedly took place less than a mile from the team’s Santa Clara headquarters and Levi’s Stadium. According to the Santa Clara Police Department, officers found “visible injuries” on Brock’s girlfriend after responding to a domestic violence call Thursday at 9:35 p.m. Brock, 28, was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail after voluntarily going to police headquarters later that night.

Police described the woman’s injuries as “minor” and she received no medical attention.

Brock’s arrest marks the 15th time a 49ers player has been arrested since 2012 when then-linebacker Aldon Smith was charged with DUI in Miami Beach.

Brock has played his entire seven-year NFL career in San Francisco after joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2010. The veteran cornerback started in every game for the 49ers over the past two seasons. Last season, he recorded 59 tackles and an interception.
