*WE tv has unleashed a 20-second teaser for its new series “Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta” ahead of its spring premiere. Bow Wow, Shaniah Mauldin, Ayana Fite, Reginae Carter, Brandon Barnes, and Zonnique Pullins are in the cast.
Mauldin is the daughter of Jermaine Dupri; Fite is the daughter of DJ Hurricane, who was most known for his work with the Beastie Boys; Carter is the daughter of Young Money chief Lil Wayne; Barnes is the brother of Waka Flocka Flame and son of hip-hop manager Ms. Deb; Pullins is the daughter to VH1’s reality couple T.I. and Tiny.
Carter and Pullins were also part of the group OMG Girlz in the late 2000s.
Bow Wow is the lone cast member who grew up AS a famous rapper, groomed by Dupri and Snoop Dogg. Over the years, he has segued to acting, recently landing roles in Entourage and CSI Cyber.
