*In case you missed the news, Jennifer Hudson has a new video for her new single, “Remember Me,” produced by the one and only Clive Davis. Jennifer says the track was inspired by Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, who just happen to be her favorite singers.
“As an artist, when I discover music that I connect with deeply, it brings me a sense of excitement that I can’t put into words, That’s how I feel about ‘Remember Me.’ Everything about it is special — from co-writing it with Jamie [Hartman], to the recording process, to how it made me feel along the way. I just can’t wait to share it with the world.”
Hudson will soon be putting in time as a coach on “The Voice UK” and she’s also working on her as yet unnamed album.
On the movie side of her career, she’s in the new Netflix movie starring Adam Sandler called “Sandy Wexler.”
*Speaking of which, Netflix released a trailer for its original film “Sandy Wexler,” the third feature film under Adam Sandler’s current multi-picture deal with the streaming service.

Sandler plays Wexler, a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s, who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business. His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, a tremendously talented singer named Courtney Clarke, played by Jennifer Hudson.
Sparks fly after Wexler discovers Courtney at an amusement park.
The film also features cameo appearances by Terry Crews, Arsenio Hall, Carl Weathers, Chris Rock, Darius Rucker and others.
“Sandy Wexler” reunites Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions company with director Steve Brill (“The Do-Over”). Paul Sado, Dan Bulla and Sandler wrote the script.
The film is available on Netflix as of now.
