*Amid their divorce, Carmelo and La La Anthony are said to be hammering out a temporary custody agreement regarding their 10-year-old son, Kiyan.
TMZ cites sources close to the former couple who say the agreement would give La La primary custody at their New York home, but Melo would have an open line of communication with Kiyan and be able to spend as much time as desired with his son.
According to the website, the divorcing couple believes they can work out the arrangement through their lawyers outside of court:
Both Carmelo and La La agree it’s important they work out a structure for Kiyan so he’s not whipsawed from place to place while they end their marriage. We’re told La La has issues with Carmelo for sure, but she’s adamant he’s a great dad and deserves time with his son.
We’re told they are absolutely getting divorced, even though legal docs haven’t been filed … yet.
