*A new Prince EP of previously unreleased material will be released on Friday, April 21, the one year anniversary of his death.

The set is also now available for pre-order on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon and a physical version will be released June 2, reports Billboard. So far, no mention of Spotify or TIDAL as an option for streaming.

The title track is available now on iTunes and Apple Music.  Listen to a snippet below:

Among the EP’s tracks is a four-movement medley of “I Am,” “Touch Me,” “Sunrise Sunset” and “No One Else.” The songs were written and recorded while Prince was an independent artist, using them as an avenue for protest against what he saw as injustice in the music industry.

Prince co-wrote and co-produced the songs with his mixing and recording engineer from 2004-2009, Ian Boxill. Boxill spent the past year after Prince’s passing completing the compositions and arrangements, finishing the production and mixing the songs.

“I believe ‘Deliverance’ is a timely release with everything going on in the world today and in light of the one-year anniversary of his passing. I hope when people hear Prince singing these songs it will bring comfort to many,” said Boxill in a statement. “Prince once told me that he would go to bed every night thinking of ways to bypass major labels and get his music directly to the public. When considering how to release this important work, we decided to go independent because that’s what Prince would have wanted.”

According to the

press release, the majority of all sales of Deliverance will benefit Prince’s estate.
