*Queen Latifah is adding to her media empire by creating a new Travel Channel mini-series titled, “Best Place To Be,” AND a new stand-up competition TV show titled “Knock Knock.”

Sources close to the Queen say that she will executive produce “Knock Knock,” “a reality show that follows 4 up and coming comedians in their daily lives, as they hustle for their big break in Hollywood.”

Latifah will work alongside longtime producing partner Otis Best — and they’ve hired “Chappelle Show” vet Donnell Rawlings to host. The winner will open for him and host their own stand-up special.

Peep the TMZvideo below in which Donnell explains his role and why Latifah is the right woman to run the show:

Meanwhile, Latifah will also invite audiences to discover the world through the eyes of Hollywood’s most adventurous with “Best Place To Be.” The series will find the award-winning talent hopping on motorcycle in Rio de Janeiro to connect with the people and bring their rich culture to viewers.

The four one-hour episode arc features noted personalities: Anthony Anderson, Jason Biggs and Mary-Louise Parker.

“This is a fun show that gives a true glimpse into how to really escape and explore,” says Latifah’s Flavor Unit partner, Shakim Compere. “Actors and performers are fortunate enough to travel around the globe for work and fun. But there’s always places that stay with them — these are the cities they keep going back to.”

Below are the 2 episodes that will air in May:

“Jason Biggs’ Hong Kong” – Premieres Sunday, May 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT

“Mary-Louise Parker’s Kenya” – Premieres Sunday, May 21 at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT
