*Houston rapper Bun B and the organizers of Ariana Grande’s “One Love Manchester” benefit concert are joining forces for a multi-network telethon to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 12, according to TMZ, and the organizers have gotten commitments from the major TV networks to carry it live in primetime.
Texas native Jamie Foxx will also be heavily involved. The Oscar winner has donated $25,000 to GlobalGiving Foundation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, he revealed Tuesday on Instagram.
Regarding the telethon, Foxx said; “We’ll give you more details, where we can raise as much money as we can for everybody down there – Houston, Beaumont, all those different places. We’re here for you.”
