*Sterling K. Brown’s character in “This Is Us” is told the story of how he came to be part of the Pearson family in the first video footage teased from Season 2.
NBC tweeted the three-minute scene on Wednesday. Brown’s character Randall ended season 1 by expressing his desire to adopt a child. The clip released today shows him asking his adopted mom Rebecca (Mandy Moore) just how she and his deceased adopted dad Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) decided to adopt him.
The scene then jumps back to Jack and Rebecca in the hospital, staring through the nursery window at the Big Three as Rebecca informs Randall just how Jack convinced her to bring him home along with her biological twins.
