*Acquisition: ARRAY announces the film distribution collective’s seventeenth feature film acquisition, TEACH US ALL. Marking the directorial debut from Sonia Lowman, the timely documentary examines the U.S. education system from the historic Little Rock Crisis to present day disparities in access that are culminating into a resegregation of schools across the nation.

ARRAY has acquired worldwide distribution rights. On September 25, ARRAY will debut TEACH US ALL on Netflix accompanied by a national screening tour to include Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle, Houston, Memphis and Gary to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Little Rock Nine’s momentous school integration. The announcement was made by ARRAY Founder Ava DuVernay.

In September 1957, nine African American students were selected to integrate the previously all-white Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas. The enrollment of these students known

The enrollment of these students known as the “Little Rock Nine” was met with violent, racially charged opposition and became a seminal mark in the Civil Rights Movement.

Lowman’s Teach Us All juxtaposes narratives of current students in Little Rock, AK with recounts from two Little Rock Nine members, then expands its scope to case studies from New York City and Los Angeles.

The film weaves together interviews, archival images, and news footage to present one of the most urgent civil
rights issues of our time; quality education for all children.

“Through her film, documentarian Sonia Lowman has created an important platform for
discussion about the current state of education in our nation and how far we have come – or not
come – in the past 60 years,” explained ARRAY’s Executive Director Tilane Jones.

“We’re thrilled to add this meaningful work to ARRAY’s catalog and we look forward to sharing the
story’s call to action with audiences worldwide at the time of the anniversary.”

The deal was negotiated by Gordon Bobb of Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein &
Lezcano on behalf of ARRAY and Lisa A. Callif, Esq. of Donaldson + Callif, LLP for the
filmmakers.
