Beverly Hills Resident Karla Gordy Bristol Debuts as Co-Host of ‘Beverly Hills View’

*Beverly Hills, CA – Television talk show host Karla Gordy Bristol has joined veteran hosts Josh Gross and Joan Agajanian Quinn on the City’s public affairs television show, “Beverly Hills View.”

Ms. Gordy Bristol’s guests thus far have included dance choreographer and director Jacob Jonas, sculptor and painter Ed Massey, and singer-songwriter Ray Parker Jr

The City-produced television program, Beverly Hills View, is a local talk show featuring a variety of rotating hosts and guests engaged in conversations about the arts, community programs, influential people and City events. It debuted in 2014 and airs Mondays at 4 p.m. on the City’s cable channel, Beverly Hills Television (Channel 10). The show is also available for streaming at beverlyhills.org and vimeo.com.

Lifelong Beverly Hills resident Josh Gross is publisher and CEO of Beverly Hills Weekly, which covers the City of Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hills Unified School District and surrounding communities. A graduate of Beverly Hills High School, UCLA and Loyola Law School, Mr. Gross founded the newspaper in 1999. He appears frequently as a television and radio commentator on media outlets including CNN, KIRN, WUST and USA Today. Since 2006, Mr. Gross has served as president of the Beverly Hills High School Alumni Association, which represents more than 20,000 graduates living around the world. His guests have included State Controller John Chiang, who is currently running for governor, former LA County Supervisor Don Knabe and State Assemblymember Richard Bloom.

Culture journalist Joan Agajanian Quinn is regarded as one of Beverly Hills’ top ambassadors for the arts. She served on the Beverly Hills Architectural and Fine Art commissions, as well as the California Arts Council for 17 years. Ms. Quinn was West Coast Editor of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine, society editor of the Herald Examiner, founding West Coast correspondent for Conde Nast’s Traveller and a contributor to many magazines. She is also creator, writer, producer and host of The Joan Quinn Profiles, a talk show focused on arts and entertainment. Earlier this year, Ms. Quinn received the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor, which recognizes individuals for outstanding achievements in their field and inspired service to our nation. Her guests have included Thai architect Kulapat Yantrasast, Kristina Hagman and Terry Jastrow and Anne Archer.

Ms. Gordy Bristol, CEO of Bristol Entertainment, is the co-host of Karla & Rainelle Show, a weekly Facebook Live live talk show. Previously, she created, hosted and served as segment producer on a weekly live West Hollywood public access television show.

During her varied career, Ms. Gordy Bristol has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and prominent individuals; executive produced the short film series, Destination Beverly Hills; and produced a variety of television talk shows, events and concerts. She manages a music publishing company, is co-founder and vice president of the Friends of Fuller B. Gordy charitable organization, and maintains a real estate office in Beverly Hills.

The Beverly Hills High School graduate comes from a prominent music industry family. Her mother, Iris Gordy, is a former Motown Records vice president; her father, the late Johnny Bristol, was a Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer and singer; and her great-uncle, Berry Gordy, founded Motown Records.
