*With Donald Trump’s attack on NFL players who take a knee during the national anthem still in the headlines, the quarterback who got it all started was spotted in New York City today and remained quiet about all the hubbub.
TMZ posted video Monday of free agent Colin Kaepernick and his girlfriend, Nessa, on their way into a gym, with the NFL vet looking more muscled than he did during the latter part of his playing days with the San Francisco 49ers.
This was Kaep’s first public spotting since Trump referred to national anthem kneelers as sons of bitches and said they should all be fired.
Kaepernick smiled when asked how he felt about the amount of NFL players who took a knee on Sunday in solidarity against Trump’s attacks.
