Fat Joe Taking Supplies to Puerto Rico in Plane Supplied by Jay Z (WATCH)

*With the situation in Puerto Rico waaay past being dire, folks are saying eff Trump and the government; they’re tired of waiting.

That means regular folks and celebs are celebs are hooking up and doing it themselves. Those 3.4 million US citizens on the island cannot wait any longer. Since Hurricane Marie’s devastation there, residents have been struggling without electricity, food, gas, and water.

Well, Puerto Rican son Fat Joe is not waiting any longer. The rapper is teaming up with JAY-Z, Tidal, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. to send supplies to the island. In a video posted on social media, the Terror Squad member says he will be collecting supplies like batteries, women’s products, water, toothpaste, soap and canned food and more.

The collecting of items will be happening this Saturday, September 30 at the Jacob Javits Center in midtown, Manhattan. And even though they once had beef between them, all that’s all in the past because JAY-Z is supplying the airplane that will ferry Fat Joe and all the supplies he collects to Puerto Rico. There, he will meet Reggaeton star Daddy Yankee to distribute the items. Fat Joe’s goal is to collect 200,000 lbs. of goods.

If you’re wondering, there are several locations throughout the state and NYC that will also be accepting donations on Saturday. They include the Shirley A. Chisholm State Office Building in Brooklyn and the Jamaica Street Armory in Queens. There are also two locations in the Bronx accepting goods, Roberto Clemente State Park and the Department of Motor Vehicles on Fordham Road.
