*In case it wasn’t clear before, Justin Bieber took to Instagram Friday (Sept. 22) to make sure everyone knows for sure that he is here for Black Lives Matter.
The pop star hit his 91 million followers with the logo in huge black and yellow font. In the caption, he explained that although he’s a white boy from Canada, he’s willing to use his voice “to shine light on racism.”
“I am a white Canadian and I will never know what it feels like to be an African American but what I do know is I am willing to stand up and use my voice to shine light on racism, because it’s a real thing and it’s more prevalent now than I have ever seen in my lifetime,” Bieber wrote. “We are all God’s children and we are ALL EQUAL.”

Biebs has come a long way since video surfaced of the singer, at age 14, singing the N-word in a parody of his own song.
As previously reported, Justin had seen a video online in which a comedian parodied his song, “One Less Lonely Girl,” but replaced “girl” with the n-word. Justin then parodied the comedian’s racist version in a video of his own.
After Bieber’s video surfaced in 2014, Justin apologized, saying, “I thought it was OK to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance.”
