*We’ve already reported on Mary J. Blige‘s tax issues, now were hearing about the situation she and her estranged husband, Martin “Kendu” Isaacs are in together.

Yep, they may be dealing with a messy divorce situation, but that doesn’t mean anything to the feds who still see them as one. One entity that owes them to the tune of nearly $2 million.

It was just last week that the Internal Revenue Service last week slapped the one time couple with a federal tax lien for $1.7 million in back taxes, reports Bossip.

The IRS doesn’t mess around when it comes to collecting debts, so Mary and Kendu could face seizure of their homes, cash or other assets in order to pay the bill.

Mary has hit the road and is in the midst of a national tour to bring in money after a judge ordered her to pay Kendu some $30,000 a month in temporary child support so he can get back on his feet.

As we’ve reported, Mary J. Blige and Kendu Isaacs were married for 12 years before she filed for divorce earlier this year. She claimed Isaacs, who also served as her manager, cheated on her and misappropriated more than $400,000 of her money on dubious “business expenses.”
