‘Tidal X: Brooklyn’ Hurricane Relief Concert Set for Oct. 17, But Jay-Z & Beyonce Not Yet Confirmed to Perform

*Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service announced Friday (Sept 22) that the third annual “Tidal X: Brooklyn” concert will take place on Oct. 17 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, with proceeds this year going toward natural disaster awareness and relief.

However, a rep for Tidal said the official lineup for the concert has yet to be revealed, despite reports that Bey and Jay will headline the event.

So far, NY radio legend Angie Martinez is the only participant mentioned in the initial announcement. A rep for Tidal told Variety that the official lineup for the concert had not been confirmed.

Tickets went on sale today at 12 noon ET for Tidal members, and will become available on Tuesday at 12 noon ET for the general public.

Since the first Tidal X benefit concert in 2015, the shows have raised more than $3 million for social-justice and education non-profits, the company says. This year, all ticket proceeds will be donated to natural-disaster-relief organizations including, Global Giving, All Hands Volunteers, Kids in Need Foundation, Direct Relief, One America Appeal, Greater Houston Community Foundation, American Civil Liberties Union, Miami Community Foundation and more.

Past performers at the concert include Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Nicki Minaj, Thomas Rhett, Alessia Cara and Lil Yachty.
