*A moment during the Q&A portion of last night’s Miss America Pageant has gone viral, because a contestant representing the red state of Texas called out Donald Trump on live television.

Miss Texas, a.k.a. Margana Wood, was asked about Trump’s response to white nationalist violence in Charlottesville, Virginia last month, when he said there were “very fine people on both sides.”

Using just 15 of her allotted 20 seconds, Wood answered: “I think that the white supremacist issue, it was very obvious, that it was a terrorist attack. And I think that President Donald Trump should’ve made a statement earlier addressing the fact, and in making sure all Americans feel safe in this country. That is the number one issue right now.”

The Atlantic City, New Jersey audience cheered her response before she could even finish, but Wood did not win the ultimate crown. Miss North Dakota, 23-year-old Cara Mund, took the honors.

Judge Maria Menounos asked Mund for her thoughts on Trump withdrawing the United States from the climate accord.

“I do believe it’s a bad decision,” she said. “Once we reject that, we take ourselves out of the negotiation table and that’s something that we really need to keep in mind. There is evidence that climate change is existing so whether you believe it or not, we need to be at that table, and I just think it’s a bad decision on behalf of the United States.”
