*The trailer for “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams” debuted on Friday, featuring Janelle Monae and Terrence Howard in the series of sci-fi stories.
Janelle Monáe appears to be an android in her story, which would make sense for the woman who once made a concept album called The ArchAndroid. Bryan Cranston, who is also an executive producer on the series, appears as a man transformed by some mysterious experience. Steve Buscemi and Howard also appear, each apparently wandering in their own stories.
“Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams” is actually the second Dick adaptation from Amazon, following “The Man in the High Castle.”
The series is due to hit Amazon Prime next year.
