Jay-Z Leads Grammy Noms With 8; SZA Most Nominated Woman With 5 (Watch Announcement)

*Andra Day appeared live on “CBS This Morning” Tuesday to revealed the Big 4 categories in the 2018 Grammy Awards — best new artist, record of the year, song of the year, and album of the year.

Jay-Z rules the roost with eight nominations this year, including nods for album of the year, record of the year, song of the year and best rap album. Kendrick Lamar follows with seven nods, while Bruno Mars has the third most nominations with six.

Breakthrough R&B artist SZA is the most nominated woman with five, while Khalid, Childish Gambino and producer Jay-Z’s “4:44” producer No I.D. also scored five noms.

The Grammys will air live on CBS from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 28. The final round of Grammy voting runs from Dec. 7-21.

After the Big 4 were announced, the Recording Academy revealed the nominees in all 84 categories.
