Salt-N-Pepa and Ying Yang Twins are all set to perform on Taraji P. Henson’s annual Fox special, “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays, while Snoop Dogg & Boyz II Men, Fifth Harmony and DMX are set for Fox’s new Yuletide-themed “Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas.”
Both performance specials will air back to back on Thursday, Dec. 14.
“Taraji’s White Hot Holidays,” from 8 to 9 p.m., will also feature appearances by DJ Khaled, Taye Diggs, Jay Pharoah, Method Man, Tituss Burgess and Niecy Nash, among other surprise guests and performances.
Henson, additionally, serves as a producer along with Casey Patterson Entertainment, Jane Mun, Greg Sills and Vincent Cirrincione.
Following from 9 to 10 p.m. is the Harvey-hosted “Showtime at the Apollo: Christmas,” featuring Snoop Dogg & Boyz II Men, Fifth Harmony and DMX offering renditions of their favorite Christmas songs.
The special will include Apollo’s legendary “Amateur Night” talent competition, which provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world.
Adrienne Houghton of “The Real” will co-host along with Harvey, and Reginald Hudlin is among the executive producers.
