*Mike Epps is executive producing a new show that honors social media influencers, but three producers are threatening to sue the comedian claiming he stole their idea.

According to TMZ, Calvin Valrie, LaMichael Finney and Bervick J. Deculus fired off a cease and desist letter alleging that “Social Awards,” scheduled to premiere on BET in February, is too similar to the show they pitched to Epps’ cousin in February, hoping to get Epps on board.

The three producers never heard back from Epps and were blindsided a few weeks ago when BET announced it green-lit “Social Awards,” TMZ reports.

Via TMZ:

The producers tell us they’re still willing to work with Epps, but they have designs on selling it to FOX. The 3 guys have given Mike an ultimatum — capitulate by Friday, or else. It’s highly unlikely Mike would try and undo the BET deal.
