Well, well, well. Look who’s zoomin’ who. Why it’s non-other than rapper/ladies man French Montana and “Basketball Wife,” Evelyn Lozada.
We hear Frenchy had a private chef whip up a fancy meal at his place for his special guest on their first date. Nope, no group date with his boys, this was dinner for 2 with some CÎROC French Vanilla on the side, of course.
Of course you’re wondering how this hook up happened. Well, it seems Evelyn and French met through mutual friends, and have been hanging out for a few weeks, but are far from “exclusive” … for now, according to a TMZ report. One source says she’s finally ready to get back in the dating world.
As we all know, Evelyn and her “benefactor” and baby daddy, Carl Crawford, split on less than amiable terms over the summer when she suspected the former MLB star of cheating on her.
Let’s see how this works out for both her and French.

*Earlier we reported on the split of Evelyn Lozada and former MLBer Carl Crawford over what some say was his infidelity. Also, it was speculated that Lozada used her fertility challenges to enhance her storyline on “Basketball Wives.”
Folks are questioning not only the timeline of their split, but if she used her fertility struggles and the status of her engagement as storylines to return to the hit VH1 show.

Meanwhile, the engagement may be off but Evelyn has no plans of returning that 14.5-carat diamond engagement ring.
According to TMZ:
Legally, Lozada is obligated to give the ring back — since an engagement ring is considered a conditional gift in California, the condition being she has to get married. But sources close to Lozada tell us … Crawford ain’t getting it back.
The site also reports that she plans to hold on to the ring until the day comes when she can pass it on to her kids.
