*Followers of Tiffany Haddish already know that Barbra Streisand is now her homie after rapping a verse from Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” to the music icon, but the “Girls Trip” standout had yet to explain how exactly the sisterhood was forged and how Cardi B came up in conversation.

During her visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday, Haddish finally offered more details about the Thanksgiving tweet in which she shared a photo taken with Streisand and referred to the artist as “my big sister.”

The comedian, who has been outspoken about her time in foster care, saw Streisand standing at the buffet table of a Thanksgiving party and struck up a conversation. Tiffany recalled explaining to Barbra the rags-to-riches story of rapper Cardi B, who Haddish says, “transformed her life.”

“She’s like, “Who’s Cardi B?’ and I’m like, ‘What! You don’t know?’,” Haddish explained to Ellen, adding that she broke into Cardi B’s anthem “Bodak Yellow” to Streisand.

Still clueless of who the rapper was, Haddish said that Streisand simply responded, “sounds catchy,” after listening to the comedian rap.

Haddish also explained that she bonded with Streisand over their childhood with Haddish growing up in South Central Los Angeles and Streisand in Brooklyn. “We found out we were both from the ‘hood, how we both ghetto chicks, except it’s different times,” Haddish joked, with DeGeneres comically adding, “Different ghetto. Different times.”

The comedian said that she and Taylor Swift became friends during their shared experience on a recent “Saturday Night Live” broadcast. After Swift asked the comedian to get together for dinner, Haddish explained she had some special requests.

“Look if I come over, you gotta make me some barbeque chicken, some potato salad and a brisket,” Haddish recalled telling Swift.

To Haddish’s surprise, Swift cooked a “bomb” dinner for the party. “First of all, Taylor can cook,” Haddish said. “The chicken was bomb! And she made cornbread. Bomb!” Haddish brought her signature “joyful greens” to the party, which Swift also praised.

Being a guest on DeGeneres’ show for the first time, Haddish took a moment to explain her longtime wish to work alongside the host, until her friends informed her that DeGeneres was a “squeaky clean” comedian. “I was like, ‘Well then I’ll just be watching her’ ‘cause I’m not!” Haddish joked.
