CNBetter Media Named ‘Agency of Record’ for the Pan African Film Festival!

*CNBetter Media has been named the “Agency of Record” for the  Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) — a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding among peoples of African descent through the exhibition of film, art and creative expression.

CNBetter Media — a multi-faceted agency specializing in public relations, brand building, event planning, experiential marketing and social media strategy — will govern the media and talent relations for the festival, now in its 26th year.

The 2018 PAFF experience will take place at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills Crenshaw 15 Theatre located within the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza (3650 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd) Thursday, February 8 through Monday, February 19, in Los Angeles, California.

“We are very pleased to welcome CNBetter Media to the PAFF family,” confirms Ayuko Babu, Executive Director of the Pan African Film Festival. “The experience, organization and planning abilities that they bring to the table make them a great addition to our team. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”

Candace Ledbetter, Principal Consultant of CNBetter Media adds, “We are extremely excited about this opportunity to serve the Pan African Film Festival. PAFF is a trailblazer in the industry of cultural film and art festivals; therefore, we don’t take it lightly to be a part of realizing their vision for 2018.” She continues, “We are both honored and committed to amplifying their legacy and success, fortifying their new and existing relationships and furthering their impact on culture, community and history.”

Recognized as the largest Black History Month event in the United States, PAFF has been instrumental in premiering a broad spectrum of Black creative works from the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Canada, South America and the South Pacific.

In addition to exclusive red carpet screenings, informative panel discussions, educational workshops, and a variety of special events hosted by the who’s who of film and entertainment, PAFF also showcases fine artists with intriguing visual displays as well as a quality vendor fair that features unique craftspeople that one would have to travel the Pan African world to behold.
