*Several tracks from JAY-Z’s latest album “4:44” have reportedly served as inspiration behind a new book offering financial advice.

In his book The Wake Up Call: Financial Inspiration Learned from 4:44 + A Step by Step Guide on How to Implement Each Financial Principle, author Ash “Cash” Exantus breaks down the financial themes Hov presented on such tracks as “Legacy,” “The Story of OJ” and “Family Feud.”

“JAY was giving so much knowledge about how you can become financially free… as an individual, as well as how we [as a culture] can break the cycle of poverty in our community,” Exantus told HipHopDX, adding, “JAY gave us the ‘what.’ My goal with the book was to give the ‘how.'”

The book is designed to “teach African-Americans how to manage money more effectively and how to build generational wealth,” as JAY-Z raps about on “Legacy.”

Ash Cash’s personal finance book can be purchased here.
