Leslie Jones Returns To Twitter & Ludacris Hosts Screening For Kids

*If you’ve been losing sleep over comedian Leslie Jones’ absence on social media, you can finally rest up because she returned to Twitter after going silent for nearly two weeks. Her disappearance was triggered by a hack on her personal website where her nude photos and personal information were leaked.

Jones retuned to Twitter to announce her love for Hillary Clinton, as well as her excitement about her recent birthday, September 7.

“Thanks to my fans and friends! I’m soooooo ok really. And I will always be funny been through a lot in my life and I ALWAYS GET BACK UP!” the 48-year-old tweeted on Sunday morning.

Her “Ghostbusters” director, Paul Feig, gave her a warm welcome back tweeting, “You are the greatest, Ms. Jones. Simply the greatest. #LeslieJonesRules.”

You can catch Jones back on the small screen when “Saturday Night Live” returns to NBC this fall.

Meanwhile, rapper Ludacris hosted a screening of “Storks” for a hundred sickly children and their families over the holiday weekend.

According to Page Six, some of the children of his celebrity friends also attended the screening, including Ne-Yo’s children Maddie and Mason with mom Monyetta Shaw, and Usher’s kids Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V came with their mom, Tameka Foster. The event was organized by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Hughes Spalding Community Board.

“Few things make me happier than sharing my success and good fortune with family, friends and the Atlanta community,” Luda said during the event. “The smiles on their faces make me want to do more and more.”

RollingOut.com also reports that Ludacris hosted his annual Ludaday Weekend, and the most highly anticipated event — the celebrity basketball game — took place at Forbes Arena on the campus of Morehouse College on Sept. 4. This year’s on-court battle between Team Ludacris vs. Team MMG.

Celebrities in attendance included Rick Ross, Tank, Adrien Broner, DC Young Fly, Tommie, Bre-Z aka Freda Gatz, Karruche, Laura Govan, Latoya Luckett, Wale, Tristan Wilds aka Mack Wilds, and Jacquees. Professional athletes included Metta World Peace, Matt Barnes and Lou Will.

Kelly Rowland’s girl group, June’s Diary, kicked things off by singing the Black American national anthem, “Lift Every Voice.”
