Ricardo A. Hazell began his career in journalism in 1996 as a Research Intern for the Editor & Publisher Co. In August 1998, Mr. Hazell began writing for Rabercom Enterprises as the first lead writer for the then burgeoning newsletter and web portal, EURweb.com. Mr. Hazell was also Assistant Editor at Black Beat magazine. His byline has appeared in The Root, Allhiphop.com, Black Girl Nerds, Washington Post, Black Enterprise and he helped define culture within professional and collegiate sports as Senior Cultural Contributor at The Shadow League. Today he continues to cover culture via articles and essays published at HipHopDX and EURweb.com, respectively.
