Seven-time Grammy nominee Charlie Wilson receives the Spirit of Los Angeles Award.
*“I am just amazed by the people coming forward to give me honors,” said Charlie Wilson, seven-time Grammy Award and three-time NAACP Image Award nominee, about being presented by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti with the Spirit Award. “When I look back at who I was at 25…everything in God’s own way and time. I am so grateful…it came from God, the Most High.”

But he is better known to us as the outspoken truth slinger, Charlamagne Tha God.
On his Arsenio Hall Show debut, the hip-hop Howard Stern, threw shade at DMX, reality TV and explained his distant relationship with his former boss Wendy Williams.
When asked how he started working in radio, the “Breakfast Club” host thanked the talk show gossip queen but admitted they haven’t spoken in almost five years.

The busy mom/entrepreneur/actress will add radio host to her long, glowing resume and many duties.
She’s the new special celebrity correspondent to the nationally syndicated radio show, “Cafe Mocha.”

Earlier today (01-31-14), it was announced that Anna Gordy Gaye, former wife of Marvin Gaye and sister of Motown founder Berry Gordy, passed away at the age of 92.
