Comment: I'm so glad someone (P. Scott) finally "got it." For the record, Steve Harvey was riding high off the success of the highest grossing comedy tour of all time: "The Original Kings of Comedy" tour, in which the movie was released the same year (2000) he started working at The Beat. Cathy Hughes got Harvey when he was hot. He was an %*$et to her -- not the other way around.

Comment: Don't know all of the particulars, but Mr. Scott your explanation sounds more plausible. Knowing Steve's character over the years, Yes!

Comment: I'm sorry I am not a Steve Harvey fan. He is one of the biggest Hypocrites out there. I was there at the Stellar Awards when he showed his black %*$ for not being treated like royalty. He has never been greatful for anything that he has gotten. I never listened to him in the morning when he was out here. I could see right through him. Anyway, I may be the only one in LA thats glad he is gone.

Comment: Steve Harvey is a wonderful human being. He speaks out on issues, that many celebrities shy away from. He had the opportunity on the LA Radio station to do this, and was able to bring in the listeners. So, if he was being forced to do things he did not wish to do, I'm applaud him for leaving. By the way, go to http://www.steveharvey.com/ and read about "The New Steve Harvey Morning Show" Its a blast. I'm so proud of him. Now, he's at a place that he can not only get more money for what he's gifted at doing, but he's happy there. I commend him, I respect him, as a wonderful human being. I question his former employer's statements, because if he was such a bad person, why would you hire him in the first place? Something touched there hearts, now there hearts have to feel the empytiness. It's there loss, and Steve Harvey's gain.

Comment: If he's a hypocrite, God will judge him. For being a man and standing firm I applaud him.

Comment: Totally off the subject but is "Charisse" on the payroll here or are the pickings slim for feedback?

Comment: If he didn't like the way he was treated, it was good to stand up for himself and leave. However, they both need to let business be business and leave it that....telling your former employer to kiss your %*$ in a public forum is classless and it is equally so for her to comment in the way that she has in the press. You didn't like working together and you went your separate ways, let it be.
