I now own HALF of Sony and THEY don't like that." Was he only speaking of HALF of Sony/ATV publishing or HALF of the COMPANY Sony? When Michael signed the "billion dollar" deal he received perks that NO OTHER star(black or white) has ever received before or since. Michael owns STOCK in Sony,a lot of stock. IF they had been successful in FRAMING him, he would have lost ALL of that. That is why the conspiracy continues.
Don't be fooled by their hype. Don't be shallow and focus on Michael's appearance; btw, I think that he looks wonderful and has made his skin-disease work for him. EVERYDAY that he showed up for court, he looked classy and very well attired. Again, don't fall for the MEDIA'S bull#$$.They have only one agenda and that is to destroy most POWERFUL man in the music industry-Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson.

Mike was not a freak on off the wall and thriller. Post-thriller Mike is an absolute FREAK. Wait a minute! Why believe he is a child molestor and not believe he is astute businessman, when you don't know him personally or have never been up in his camp? This article does make alot of sence and I do believe most of it, but when you hear and see so much bad publicity on a person sometimes it's hard to know what to believe. I never once believed he was going broke and now with this perspective I just don't know.

(if i learned nothing else from attending public school in amerikkka, it's do your own research as best you can. a great deal of knowledge is, and was hidden from us). also ciara, and others on this board who take the time and examine the facts surrounding this malignant, cancer growing, festering, and spreading sickness called racism. this scenario has repeated itself so many times in the past. ever heard of paul robeson? nat turner? malcom x? they hold martin luther king junior up as "our" shining example to emulate (because of his non-violent posture?) but they killed him, and he was non-violent. if you understand nothing else, understand this, intelligent, hard-working, take no bullstuff, independent-thinking, not going along with all the lies we were taught in school, ready to rock the boat, and tip it over, type black people are a threat to the well-being and security of the euros in this country in particular, and the world at large. in order for them to have their homes in the suburbs and send their children to private schools they have to have the funds to make that happen. those funds come from us. wake yo' goat-mouth azzez up b4 it's too late. and next week it just might be too late. harriet tubman said it best, "she would have freed more slaves if only they knew they were slaves!" again we cannot afford to be this naive in 2006. couldn't afford it in 1906.

Yes Mike seems a little nuts but when I think of him I think of him being ONE of the greatest entertainers ever first. MJJ is and his siblings is the most reviled and hated black family in the history of the music industry, from where I'm sitting and it's very disturbing to say the least, particularly for those of us who love and appreciate him and his music, and his family. Comment: This article does look at things from a slightly different perspective. It does seem strange that apparently Neverland was getting ready to be sold. The rest of the Jackson family was going to be evicted. Michael was totally broke and up to his ears in debt. The slience is deafening. Conversely, a lot of the shyt MJ found himself in was self-inflicted. He did mutilate himself with the nose jobs, the chin, the eyes and the skin bleach. MJ was crazy for buying two white kids from those skanks, dangling one over a balcony, making them wear mask outside. MJ didn't learn his lesson from the first trial. He knew white folks will prostitute their own children. In the second trail the parent prostituted out their 13 yo. Most 13 yo. don't like hanging out with their parents let alone sleep in the bed of a grown azz man. Between this puff piece and the negative media reports, the truth lies somewhere in between. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I wouldn't trust MJ with my kids.

1. He has a skin disorder that many people have and he found a way to smooth his skin into one shade. You are aware that vitiligo is a skin disease where your skin looses pigmentation? If so, I doubt you would have made dumb comment number one.
2.Children cannot be legally bought. He married a woman who had 2 kids making him the legal father whether he is the bio dad or no immaterial.
The last accuser never slept in Michael's bed with Michael( per sworn court testimony). Please do your homework before you speak out of turn.
The truth is the truth which you obviously you have not taken the time to discern.
Last of all, what did anything you had to say about things none of your business like his skin, his children, have to do with the article posted? I noticed you didn't touch it. You just spouted the same old negative baloney uninformed people always spout about Michael.

It wasn't whitey who made him bleach his skin. It wasn't whitey who made him screw around with his nose, chin, other parts of his face, etc. It wasn't whitey who made him get unreasonably close to and perhaps moleste boys... practically in front of America. It wasn't whitey who made him dangle his baby over a hotel balcony. It wasn't whitey who made him marry Debbie Rowe or impregnate her twice. It wasn't whitey who made Mike commission a videotape of his life where he's flaunting around holding hands with a 13 year old boy. All of that and more was Michael's doing. Mike did all of that to himself and to ignore all of that and infer that Mike's troubled existence with the media is a product of his owning the Beatles' catalog is missing the pink elephant standing in the corner.... And for the record, George Michael was arrested in a public bathroom performing homosexual acts. George Michael slipped up and outed himself... Tommy Mattola... casualty of war???? Try again. How about steadily declining record sales of Sony and Sony dropping down a couple notches in the major label size/profitability race.

For those who are confused, the article was clear to me: MJ was not labeled "Crazy" or "Wacko Jacko" until after the business dealings. The same as Prince was labeled crazy when he demanded his independence, not prior to-when people didn't know his sexuality or dig his religious underpinnings, but loved his music. MJ changed skin tones (whether by choice or not) and facial features before his 2nd album release. You may have heard of it, a little ditty called, "Thriller." Recall that at that time, in those days, MJ was considered the best of the best. Consider this: He hung out with children then, he invited kids over then, he spoke of Peter Pan and not wanting to grow up then. He allegedly purchased coffins, and the Elephant man's bones then. Even in 93 when he was first publicly accused of criminal acts, folks had 10 good years in between where they still loved MJ for his music. The child molestor outcry didn't happen until the video was shown. Between that time and the last, he went through more appearance changes, and did odd things-the same as he used to mind you-but something changed. He purchased the publishing rights. So this is where this article takes off. MJ wasn't considered wacko or crazy UNTIL he mad strong business moves and married a "King's" daughter. Comprende?

You have got to be a hater in disguise if you think that that billion-dollar catalogue, the largest country and western selection in the world, the Beatles publishing and some of Elvis's, not to mention the classics, his own music, any genre you can name, he owns, is not causing him hatred vy a select group of people. Artists are not supposed to be smart or businessminded, they're just supposed to sing and dance and entertain and bling-bling while the real players get paid behind the scenes, the real money.

That being said, i have to say this too..it is absolutely true that Michael Jackson is a brilliant businessman. He is probably the most influential entertainer of our time. He is gifted and talented. Unfortunately, he is also a pedophile. Because he is a pedophile, i could care less about his business acumen or his artistic genius. Just so you know: YES. SOMEONE CAN BE BRILLIANT AND STILL BE A PEDOPHILE !!! While i am sickened by his pedophilia, there is a part of my heart that goes out to him because he very well may have been preyed upon before he became a predator; most pedophiles were. Speaking as a person who has followed the Michael Jackson Trial from the very beginning all the way to the very end; I must say I can very easily see every point you have made to be JUST and after reading some comments in here it is clear to me that there are some negative comments or moreover, haters and I am willing to bet they did not see one day of that trial or they too would see where you are coming from with your article so I'm putting them on MUTE/IGNORE and will say an extra prayer that they become more knowledgable on Michael Jackson before they make their next post. But you have to know your history to know what's up, and why its going on. Its the same thing that goes on in corporate America. There was a lady here on my job a few days ago who got "layed off" because of budget reasons. Thats what they told her. However, she had more experience, knowledge, education, and intelligence than her white counterparts. In other words, just know enough to do the job and don't outsmart us or shine above and beyond. What Mike went through is the same across the board. He makes more dollars so he gets hit even harder. So what if he changed his nose? Women, we change our weave every two weeks. And if you are educated, you will sit down and study what vitaligo is really about and then you will know why his skin looks the way it does. Like you said Ciara, get educated. Stop believing in rumors and for once believe in the truth. Mike was innocent and the evidence proved it. Furthermore, he's not broke. Broke people do not move to Bahrain and live in a palace. In this coming month, he will release a boxset of his music in the U.K., and watch how it will explode. On my last note, think about what is going on. Anytime you are in partnership and want to sell, you cannot sell unless you get the approval of the other owner/partner. Just like a home. If you want to sell your home and you have a joint ownership, you cannot sell unless you all agree. They cannot do much with the Sony/ATV Catalog unless they get Mike's approval. They want him to sell it because they know it's the bread and butter for atleast 5 generations after him. He knew a good investment when he saw one. Just the same as we should know the truth when we hear it and read it. Yes, he did look good throughout the trial. Remember, he's UNBREAKABLE!

Comment: Although Mr. Hamilton's article is well written and points out Michael's power moves more objectively than what the other major media outlets reported, Michael's behavior and actions behind the scenes also made it easy for media lynching as well. Michael has lived a very public life from childhood and should have known that virtually everything he does becomes an open display. It's one thing to make shrewd business moves, it's another thing to be as "eccentric" as YT. Once Michael crossed over on the eccentric side, he became the target of choice. He continues to make smart business choices at the same time being the eccentric black man. Eventually most of us (me include) lost focus on Michael being the greatest entertainer and perhaps the smartest businessman and saw "straight up weird" and yes a pedophile. Unlike the most of us, Michael had and still has the ability to manipulate his own publicity based on what he presents, negative or positive. To hate someone you don't know or to judge a book by the cover amounts to ignorance. True, you may not be a alleged molestor of pedophile or even trust your children with Michael, but please don't deny his talent, accomplishments, contributions, nor his business acumen. Elvis was not picked apart, even though he was a drug abuser; Sinatra was never maligned because of his association with the mob.
