Comment: I know many Ms. Mary's. A few that also lived on Chorbonnette St. It's this kind of positive attitude that makes me proud to be a New Orleanian. We're all simple folk down here it doesn't take much to keep us happy. I use to live in the lower nine, right on Rene St. Before the storm most of my family lived in some part of the ninth ward. Gone are the days of "making groceries" at Puglia's market, getting a burger at Burger Orleans or a sundae at Frostop. I wish the best for Ms. Mary but what's most unfortunate is the fact that she may never call the lower ninth ward home again.

Comment: I am born and raised in California and Ms. Mary's way of talking and expressing her experience and thoughts her strength, Positive nature and belief in God reminds me of some of my East Texas relatives. It is her dream, belief and prayer that she will rebuild her home in the same spot. Something good and positive is going to happen to this family all because of Ms. Mary.
