Comment: I am first to post but, its no worse than the boot camp incident in florida. all whites and 1 big black officer stood there and let them beat that boy to death. i was so ashamed that ANY blacks would be involved. but on the tape, there he was. larger than any of the other officers and did not try to intervene. it's all bad.

Comment: Its funny how the black cop is being charged but how many times have we seen live and in living color white cops killing and/or beating black suspects and almost always they don't have charges pressed against them. Its BS

Comment: It's the same with most cops. I know that there are decent ones, but all bad cops should be prosecuted. Regardless of race. A bad cop is a bad cop. It's like Ice Cube said in the song F' The Police..."Cuz they'll slam ya down to the street top...black police showin' out for the white cop". Some black cops can be worse than the racist white ones.

Comment: You're right Stephanie, why go after this black cop when there are thousands of white ones that have been exonerated for the same damned thing! Although I have no sympathy for this black cop, the punishments for these crimes should cross color lines! I don't trust or care for black cops because a lot of times they will treat you worse than any yt - if a yt is with them and they are in that mood you're in trouble. No sense looking in that black face for compassion or understanding or assistance cause it's not forthcoming.

Comment: Blackman you are so correct. In the ATL the black cops are horrid. Every encounter I've had with a black police officer, including a black woman, has been negative. I remember politely asking one black male officer for directions when a detour threw me off, and he acted like I talked about his mama. He was so nasty to me that I just drove off and struggled on my own to find my way out. The encounters with the white officers were fine- they even called me "ma'am" and told me to have a nice day. Go figure...
