Comment: Sorry, Jacqueline. If you were familiar with the radio hosts in DC on WHUR, you would know, they were never geared towards young people. The Real DC Morning Team was for us "Old Heads" as Michael Baisden likes to say. Steve is just not a good replacement was a team which was working! I don't understand the mgmt at WHUR. You replace what's not working! I'm iPod down in the morning now...

Comment: I don't listen to radio but I made a decision to see what all of this opposing hooplah is about over Steve Harvey. I've listened to him for a week now and I don't see what the problem is. He's no worse than the previous hosts IMO.

Comment: Uuummmm Honey no. OK Steve is not welcomed here because Steve is beyond unfunny and his flavor ran out about five years ago.
The only thing funny on that show is Eugene.(Hope is does not cost him his job). I come from radio and believe me you can not continue to insult your listeners and live. In three months AR will tell the story. Local folks would like to sometimes hear local news and no offense, not what pookie'em doing at Pattie's House of Pork and body waxing

Comment: Did anyone hear Steve this morning tell the gay guy that does the birthdays that if he don't shape up and be more friendly he is outta there? The guy told Steve he should have talked too him in the office and not on the air with all of his friends listening. I agreed with him because I was embarrassed for the man. Steve kept getting on him on the air for about 2-3 minutes. That was a mess.

Comment: Steve Harvey's Show replaced the slot that Tom Joyner had in Detroit with the Radio One/Clear Channel Switch. Recent radio ratings showed that the Steve Harvey's show beat the Tom Joyner show in the early morning slot. Somebody is listening! I have listened to both shows. I like both for different reasons. It's great to have the option of switching the channel

Comment: It's funny that today's feedback is about radio from the artist and VJ perspective with R-uh and Steve "cocky" Harvey. Most of us will agree that we do not listen to the radio simply because of artists and VJs mentioned. I'm so sick of not hearing India Arie, Common, The Roots, and other artists that create positive and inspiring music on the radio. You hear the same 8 - 10 negative, ignorant, azz shaking, dope slinging, women degrading music and the VJ's continue to play this BS each shift!!! You have cocky VJ's who think they're bigger than life. We have one in Chicago who is still on the airwave after hitting every news channel for domestic abuse. I also IPOD the commute to and from work.

Comment: Again - That is all you have ! I am born again, however, think about all the Presidants men, and Pastors that rumors have gone out about possibly having sex with an underage, girl. What if everyone was considered guilty about something before proven guilty. Just like haters that lied on me from a big church and Riverdale IL and did not have the guts (the scam artists and Old Landlord Pimp) that were Feds and I was nowhere around, now I willhave to do things "MY Way". What a corrupt system and a group of probably women noone wants. What about all the Lesbian women molesting and trying to kill me because I don't want them.

A lot of faithful 92.3 listeners just never bothered to change the dail so Steve basically just inherited the #1 morning slot. 2. The change wasn't announced, all of a certain the format changed and a lot of people didn't know that Tom had moved over to 105.9. 3. Reception - 92.3 has the stronger signal. I use to listen to Tom as I got dressed in the mornings, but I can't pick for 105.9 in my house.
