Comment: I've always felt Bobby had talent - just no common sense. Wouldn't it be ironic as hell if his career took off while Whitney's plummets?

Comment: I'm glad he's going back to performing, I didn't realize he was so talented because he spent quite a bit of time being shadowed by criminal behavior! Whitney's career can't plummet - she put it on hold several years ago in favor of that glass dyck so it just ain't moving!

Comment: Never realized how talented Bobby was. That TV have me addicted! Had me cdfu the whole season! I hope they bring it back. I widh that Whitney would really get herself together, for she is a Major Powerhouse! Would love to give her some motivation, like saying to her"Mariah said you washed up", and Whitneys all time favorite "Ah hail to the no" and bring herself back! But if she is still praying to that " Glass God", and smoking cigarettes, she might lose her voice, and that would surley be a waste of major talent.

Comment: I always knew B. Brown was the shyt. He's one of my favorite performers. I'm so estatic for them/him. They rocked that tribute to Bob Johnson somethin' fierce, so I know they're going to throw down hard. Renetta, B. Brown has plenty of common sense, it's just that he does what he wanna do. He's a free spirit and I can truly relate.

Comment: EricsGirl - I used to go to the Essence Music Festival every year when it was in New Orleans. It is always the 4th of July weekend when it is Hot as all get out. They always have the best of the best African American musicians and on Saturday They have African American Empowerment seminars.

Comment: I have always liked B. Brown, he is a great entertainer. I think fame tripped him up and smacked him around. Hopefully he stays on course with his sobriety. I saw NE last year DC and they were fabulous. They rocked all night. I never sat in my seat. And I lost my voice because I sang every song.

Comment: I also believe that Bobby is talented - just have not used good common sense about some things in his life - he can sing, dance, act, and has great stage presence - he just needs to act like a responsible adult with some functioning brain cells. I still love Roni, Don't be cruel, etc.

Comment: Happy to see that the Essence Music Fest is going strong, but I cannot wait until it returns to New Orleans where it rightfully belongs. Can't have a party without a N.O. Po Boy and some crawfish!

Comment: I’ll be honest with you. I think Bobby is more talented than Whitney. He has way more charsima – is a MUCH better actor and has much more command of the stage when he sings. He knows how to connect with his audience. I hope they BOTH make a huge comeback and prove all the neysayers wrong…

Comment: >>>Renetta: I agree with you, as a Bobby Brown fan from way back....I always thought that he could SAANG, girl, and dance.....remember the every little step video??? who else could make me love the Ghostbusters...."too hot to handle to cold to hold" I just feel he got way too arrogant....but I'm a fan to the end....yes, even when I found out that his dancing feet were "crunchy black" I just love Bobby Brown, I found a DVD of his videos and I hope to order it soon....
I loved him Thug Lovin with Ja Rule....although I heard his MTV performance was "BUNK" (bad junk)
Hopefully, he'll redeem himself during the reunion.

Comment: When Whitney was giving her husband props, let's just say people were less than kind. Many folk was doggin Whitney when she said her husband was the KING OF R&B. I've always felt her on that comment because after he was booted from NE, he came out hard with his all girl band and dancin his azz off! Think back to My Prerorogative and TenderRoni. Nobody was doin it like Bobby. He was hungry and had something to prove, having been expelled from NE. There was even a rumor out that Bobby had some dreaded disease or was dead. OH THE HATE!! When he and Teddy Riley joined forces, everything about r&B changed from the way the music was produced to the choreography. Bobby could bust-a-move for real. Now, after all this time, I must say to see all the love on the board for Bobby now is interesting. I love them both however, pride comes before the fall, and my girl Whitney is on the way down with her Leo prideful self. She knows she has no reason to be going out like that and as a fan, I'm mad as hell, but what can I do? She may be a proud lion, but she's no match for her drugs of choice. Hopefully, Bobby can inspire her now because she tried to hold him down while she was riding high! However, I remain hopeful and pray for the healing of her troubled mind, body, soul and family.
