Comment: You forgot "huh brah" meaning that you agree with what the other person is saying. Also "making groceries" AKA (in other parts of the country) going grocery shopping.

Comment: I'm originally from Mississippi and most of those terms are familiar to me. Southernbelle, I've been away from Mississippi and I still go to the grocery store to "make my groceries". LOL! Old habits are hard to break.

Comment: What about, Bring: in place of take. Ex. Bring me to work or Bring me to the stow to make groceries. When I left N.O to go to college in Florida my friends always use to get on us New Orleanians about saying bring instead of take.
