Comment: Maybe I'm not gettin' it but I think these white boys are taking this shat too far - to the point of ridiculousness. Isaac Hayes, whether you agree with him leaving or not had the right to make that decision.

Name: star
Comment: I think that the creators are doing what they do best.

Comment: OMG...that way the killed him off is HILARIOUS. It's a must keep on my DVR.

Comment: I am puzzled by Isaac Hayes at this point and I saw Tom Cruise on TV the other night trying to fight against having that Episode of South Park aired, it aired anyway and had the highest ratings ever. Isaac quit his job over "alleged" pressure from his "religion", hopefully Tom will share those 20 million per movie paychecks with him.

Comment: FUNNY AS HELL! i watched the episode and i couldnt stop laughing. the eulogy was interesting. i felt like they ment everything they said and if issac was to come back today they would take him back. but anyway the show was bananas

Comment: I laughed so hard at that episode. It's was obvious to me that they have love for Mr. Hayes but they did what they had to do. Sure is a DVR keeper.

Comment: I think the writers handled this situation perfectly and without malice. It's their "job" to make fun of situations, for that wouldn't be satire. To even have the kids eulogizes him by blindly referring to the events... perfect. I read that the writers are truly disappointed by Hayes actions and comments but do not want him to leave and even recognize and respect his role in the show. To me the writers are still leaving the door open for his return... to me this is perfect.

Comment: Although, I never really watched the show, whenever you mention South Park, the first person that comes to mind is Chef and I really think ratings will drop drastically. From what I understand, he made the show. These white boys think they have the last laugh but in the end, Isaac will because no one will really watch the show anymore.

Comment: Stephanie...uhmmm..isn't a little TOO early for u 2 b on datherb? Good LAWD ALREADY!

Comment: actually stephanie chief was not a main charactor and was even out for most of last season. he was funny but cartman and stan are the ones that run that show. chief will be missed but the ratings wont.

Name: Winn30344
Comment: I'm confused; in the newspaper it said Issac Hayes had a stroke and that's why he wasn't on the show and that he didn't quit the show because he needs the money. Someone's lying.

Name: VickiE
Comment: Yeah. Chef was not a major character at all. I think of Cartman and Stan immediately when I think of the South Park. Even Kenny, who was off the show for a season or so, and the disabled kid, Timmy, has more air time. I find this holier than thou attitude that some people have about their religion a bit TOO much. I'm glad he's off the show if he feels this way. If he could stomach the creators poking fun at other religions and not his then I hope they make a jab at Scientology in every episode.

Name: BigBlackRod
Comment: Scientologists have a right to their religion, and South Park has a right to poke fun at it; any religion that has a vocal contingent of Hollywood-types is just BEGGIN' to be raked over the coals. Isaac Hayes didn't seem to have a problem with the show depicting Jesus as Rambo...PEACE.
