Comment: I'm not at all sure why the these boys taking steroids is a big deal. The intense schedule and exercise associated with professional sports just begs for this kind of behavior. Their fans expect them to run faster and jump higher with superhuman strength, they're just getting a little help!

Comment: I tend to agree with you on that. Also, I don't understand how sending someone to jail for using drugs does any good? It makes no sense to me. Sentence the person to mandatory rehab, not prison.

Comment: That's why I miss the REGGIE JACKSON's, the Mickey Rivers', the Goose Gossages', the Willie Randolphs? What ever happened to athletes of that ilk who rocked just for the sake of rockin?! WTF??? A bytch gotta be all dope up just to play now? Please.

Comment: These white folks are doing everything they can to taint Barry Bonds who is headed toward breaking the all-time homerun record. They just cannot have a black man be the reigning king of America's favorite pastime. It's a damn shame. And, now they're digging up dirt on Sheffield. If the authors don't want to be accused of racisim, there damn well better be some white athletes they 'expose' in this book as well.

Comment: And, let's not get started on the prosecutor's pitiful excuse on why he chose NOT to bring charges against the white men and ONLY against Culpepper and Williams. It definitely is discrimination and as the judge stated, 'It looks bad, though.' For this reason, I hope the judge throws this mess out. Hell, if EVERYBODY on the boat was accused of lascivious/lewd misconduct, then the prosecutor needs to prosecute everybody NOT just the rich BLACK athletes. The criminal justice system is just PURE-D-ISHT!
