Comment: LOL!!! That she is, but my problem with her is that she only sounds good when she's belting something out. She doesn't sound good any other way and that lack of versatility was her undoing.

Comment: Even though I was stunned by Mandisa's early elimination, I also felt that her song choices was going to be her undoing. In fact, it's all about the song choices now, and if Paris isn't careful, she too will find herself eliminated early. IMO, it really doesn't matter who wins this season, most of the contestants will end up with a contract of some sort. AI is now the show of exposure.

Comment: Its a shame that she got the boot, but, conutry music is like telling a story more than singing like she does. She was the best of this lot, the rest of these are just play singers. This year is the worst of the seies, they couldn't find any real singers out of the thousands who tried out?

Comment: I actually like this season's contestants. Mandisa will do fine, someone will pick her up for a recording contract. Lisa Tucker was OK, but I definitely see her doing the acting thing and possibly musicals/broadway so good for her. I believe Paris is very versatile and will sing and act.

Comment: I'm gonna miss Mandisa. She made the competition worth watching. When she sang Chaka Khan I had chills through my body that girl can sang fo sho and we will see more of her I'll be willing to bet my arm on that one.

Comment: Mandisa will do fine. I read somewhere that Simon is already talking about signing her. I think this lot is much better than last years but not as good as the year Fantasia won.

Comment: to: RealSmiles] I agree. Paris' aunt is Ann Nesby. She could've been got a record deal through her but she along with Mandisa don't need AI. They just need the exposure. Paris, I believe didn't want people to think she just got that deal because of her famous aunt. She wants to prove to the public that she got mad pipes. We're also getting the good deal of how well they sound live.

Comment: Mandisa can sing her azz off, but let's be real. Had she been much much smaller she would still be on AI. If Kelly Pickler was as heavy as Mandisa she also would have been voted off but we all know she's cute, blond and petite, oh and blue eyes. It's sad that people just on looks.

Comment: I love Mandisa's spirit, but let's all be REAL wit it!!! Mandisa can only sing if she is singing loud and hard. She has shown several weeks in a row now that when she tries to sing softly she CAN NOT stay in tune to save her life (or in this case, her AI career). I'm sure she will be able to be successful since most of our "singers" (and I use the term loosely) can't halfway sing anyway. But before she makes any further moves in her career she needs to get some very REAL vocal training.

Comment: I wish Mandisa well. And so far as last week's bottom 3 (ManD/Elliot/Paris), I was disappointed but far from shocked.
After Fantasia/LaToya London/Jennifer Hudson landed in the bottom3 during Season 3, it was clear that AI is more about acceptable personalities than outstanding talent.
