Comment: Pras is bringing to light the plight of the homeless. Whether you live in NYC or Hollywood, I would imagine, being without a home is the same. In a country that can dish out billions to support a war that only 39% of the population support, it is a crying shame that even one person has to sleep with rats.

Comment: Fvcking Pathetic...All the REAL homeless people in the United Fuvking States of America and Pras goes and acts homeless...and gets paid!!!

Comment: I wish him luck with this project for it is living among the homeless that we understand what goes on. Not that a lot of us care. I always wondered what the person was doing 5 or even 10 minutes before they made the decision that put them on the street. I know a lot of it has to do with drugs but I also know that all homeless aren't drug addicted anymore than all drug addicted are homeless.

Comment: This sounds like an interesting project. I too wonder sometimes about the homeless people I see around DC. I know that a lot of homeless people are mentally ill and others are alcoholics or drug addicts but I know some just ran out of money and luck. I won't see this, but I'm sure it's interesting. I don't really like documentaries for the most part - they are always depressing. I get enough of that on the news every night.

Comment: Kudos to Pras for exposing a terrible problem that is the hidden secret in our society. Homelessness extends past the addicts one sees on the street, just imagine the number of shelters housing more. The vast majority of homeless people, sadly to say, is women with children and it truly breaks my heart :( - I have volunteered at a women's shelter and it was the best experience of my life. I also donate clothing regularly at the shelter as well. It is truly sad that this segment of society is seen as less than human by many which would probably explain the recent rash of blatant attacks tinged with racism. Funny, because the stereotypes are sad because many forget that many a famous athlete have been found living under freeway over passes. I wish I knew the solution but no one in America should have to live like this..........

Comment: I bet those hating on Pras for doing this probably clicked on the article excitedly thinking that he was homeless for real and were disappointed to see that he is bringing attention to the plight of those who are using a sidewalk or park bench as a pillow at night. If this project makes us as a people take steps to do something about this issue then I hope Pras enjoys whatever he makes on this deal.

Comment: JazzFan shut your puedo-righteous azz up...and if you're so inclined why aren't you doing something for the homeless NOW -- just like the rest of us once you turn your computer off you'll completely forget about Praz and homeless folks in that mo fo order!

Comment: >DCGG: Thanks for assuming that I'm doing nothing for the homeless. AMong other things, if you care to join me in your neighborhood, there is a program called Christmas in April where volunteers repair the homes of persons who are poor and/or elderly. It's all over the country, I'm sure you can find it near you if YOU can get youself off your computer. It's April 29 this year, I'll be there, WILL YOU?

Comment: the sad thing is most of them due suffer from some sort of mental illness...why isnt this country doing more to help them...they should be in mental institutions receiving the proper care not living among rats which will only intensify their problems.

Comment: As a "homeless" person why did Pras go to the Standard hotel???--he knew he wasn't gonna get a free meal there-any other homeless person KNOWS where to go for free/discounted meals, if any on the street. Pras is trying to make this documentary interesting, but if he has made cinematic choices like going to the swank Standard hotel for some type of effect, I think the documentary will come off kinda hollow-if anything, why didn't he spend time with a group of homeless people down on skid row and live amongst them, befriend them and then reveal who he is and show his support somehow? ? I'm not gonna hate, but I'll be interested in seeing how effective his views come across.
