Comment: Give it up already. There... I said it. I know it might sound like sacriledge among Black folk... but I said it. I am sick and tired of folk trying to make Big into some kind of patron saint of rap. He was a good rapper. He had a few hits. He got into all sorts of ridiculousness with Tupac, and he was shot... probably for his association with the foolishness that is common in rap. He was no saint. He had his "issues." And the REAL reason why his murder is yet unsolved is because the people who really know what happened refuse to talk--due to some BS street code. I simply refuse to allow this man's so called legacy to morph into that of MLK or Malcolm X or something. Do disrespect or anything... but Biggie was little more than a good rapper who made it out of the streets and made himself and primarily his widow and children rich(er). It's as simple and as complicated as that.

Comment: My comment is late, but no, B.I.G. was no MLK but he was a Black man who was killed because of crooked cops who are paid to protect us. That in itself should make this case matter and to say it doesnt show how disconnected we as Black people have become, not caring about each other, only about ourselves. Read up on things and educate yourselves before you make stupid comments..this whole BIG murder is a big cover up by the LAPD. THAT should matter.
